Thanks Nigel, but credit must go to Frank Goodman who put me on to this for the website.
It looks like they have made an error in the drop down options box. Obviously the three piece set is for the trike. Price for the two piece (solo) at under $200 sounds a lot better. Thinking about it though, a decent engineer could probably knock these up for little money, plus if it works in an separate rotating disc, would it not work with the ball bearings direct in the tyre. You could still add the required damping fluid. Now thats a thought. I’m sure some engineer or physicist will come up with the answer.

Fascinating video, Bob – well found. At $250/set, I’m not yet convinced I’ll be rushing to buy some of these automatic wheel balancers though!

Mind you, if I did want to buy a set, I’d be confused by the dropdown options on the WingStuff page you link to. Have you figured out why it says a kit for a trike comes as a ‘Set of 2′ balancers, whilst a kit for a solo comes as a ‘Set of 3′?!
