Ian Duxbury was treading the airwaves again at 10pm yesterday evening on the John Barnes Show – this time to promote the idea of a Parades Day in Blackpool to help us with next year’s Blackpool Light Parade and also to ask for help to find a practice ground for the GoldWing Drill Team which some of our Members are trying to form. Randy Rodriguez (Captain of the Central Florida Motorcycle Drill Team) and his wife Cat are coming over to UK for this years Blackpool Light Parade and will be staying with Stuart & Liz for a few days afterwards. Their last evening in UK will be Wednesday 8th September 2010 and Stuart & Liz are hosting a farewell party for them at their home in Samlesbury. There will be a Potato Pie (with crust!) and red cabbage followed by Apple & Blackberry Pie and Cream.

All Members of GoldWings North West are welcome. Cost is £5 per head for the food and please bring whatever you like to drink in case we haven’t got it in. Any surplus will to go to NW Air Ambulance.

Stuart forgot to mention it at the Meeting on Sunday so please ring him if you are coming or tell him at Blackpool, so he can order enough Potato Pie! (Phone number is in the Members Photo Section.)
