Run for a total of 20 minutes and still as good as new. Comes with instruction leaflet and tool kit. If anyone is interested as a power source for a caravan/motor home perhaps let me know asap. It will be going on eBay shortly. You can buy these new for around £85.00, including delivery so if anyone wants if for £50.00 its yours.

2003 GL1800 EML Trike – NOW SOLD Thanks!

This one owner, US specification, less than 7,000 miles EML Martinique Trike has been polished endlessly and is in a near new condition as a 2003 GoldWing could ever be – and it’s for sale.

It has a chrome top box rack, chrome engine covers and lots of other chrome, tow bar with electrics, Tulsa screen fitted, but it does have the original one. It also has one of those MP3 music players that pretends to be a Honda CD player and works with the bike’s built in controls and the display of disk and track number.

Because it’s a US spec GL1800 this trike can be fitted with a Hondaline CB radio should the new owner wish to do so.

The trike has also had quite a bit of discrete display lighting fitted for use in Light Parades.

Price includes a newly done MOT on hand over.

This 1500 is a 1991 Canadian import model and belongs to GoldWings North Wales members Alan and Joyce Wilkins – it is unfortunately for sale due to ill health.

It has 72,449 kilometres on the clock which is just over 44,200 miles. It has road tax until February 2012 and the MOT is until September this year but should pass no problem as it has only done a few hundred miles since the last MOT. It has spent most of its time garaged through lack of use. It runs perfect and is ideal for a first time GoldWinger and is sensibly priced to sell.

Accommodation has been secured at the Evans Hotel, a GoldWing friendly hostel in the town, with nearby secure overnight parking. There is a two night package which has been arranged with the hotel for Dinner Bed and Breakfast, with evening entertainment, at a favourable rate. Negotiations are ongoing to try and secure a camping area for those hardy souls who really do want to camp in October.

Having taken my beloved Wing in for her annual MOT today, I was shocked (as was the Tester!) to find that the swinging arm had corroded and cracked.

After returning home at a snail’s pace, I’m now looking for a replacement, so if anyone knows where one may be lurking, please let me know!

Wanted – Chrome Rotor Cover r/h for GL1500

Now sorted, managed to pick up a pair of the new style covers from Knutsford Honda Chrome Crazy day for not a lot pf money. Really pleased with them, especially the new rings of fire supplied by Jimmy Ryan, Frank Goodman and Ian Duxbury. Thanks for looking.

Can you have a look in your garage for a Chrome Rotor cover for a GL1500. Its got to be the right hand side as your sat on the bike and the older style from pre 2000. It would be really good if it was brand new and unopened but hey I will accept no broken tabs and no scratches if possible. Alternatively if you have a chrome pair in good condition I would also be interested, I lost my original somewhere on the motorway last season.
