Potato Pie Supper – Wednesday 8th September, 7pm till late.

Randy Rodriguez (Captain of the Central Florida Motorcycle Drill Team) and his wife Cat are coming over to UK for this years Blackpool Light Parade and will be staying with Stuart & Liz for a few days afterwards. British Heart Foundation raffle raises £141.00

Honister Pass / Slate Mine – Frank Goodman

A last minute run last sunday, we met at Forton, just Frank, Judy, Roger and Cheryl, we set off for the lakes. It was cloudy but warm. Owing to the missed Lancaster Bomber a few weeks ago a Spitfire made up for it at Bowness, it was a full size replica and very nice too. Bike in the Park – Reports from Bill & Barbara and Dave & Toni

Bill & Barbara Squires said – Gary lead an excellent turn out of 22 wings to Heaton park but because he had been given some incorrect info about which entrance to use we all finished up doing U turns to the correct entrance, having been on previous years the event itself has’nt grown in size, there was however some nice bikes on display, but there were some that should have been TAKEN to the scrap yard not RIDDEN.
