  1. Anyone who has’nt been to this event must’nt miss this year, it’s a really good weekend. Llandudno is a wonderful victorian seaside town, not too far to travel to, the Great Orm is a must. (No, not our own ‘great Orm’-Stuart)The view from the top is amazing. Get yourselves booked in soon.

  2. coming down for the day – just to have areally good look see and enjoy the atmosphere. also to give us more miles (for fun may I add) to help towards june’s epic.

  3. is any one just going on the Saturday as i am if so are we meeting anywhere first

  4. Ted
You will fird there are quite a few members booked for camping at the event and will already be there on the Saturday. Have a good day, its well worth the visit.

  5. Yes Ted we are going down saturday can meet anywhere you want

  6. For those coming down on Saturday, be aware that the traffic is usually HORRENDOUS – on the A55 heading to the town and especially in and around the town itself. Even on a motorbike, it’s difficult to make any sort of progress. It’s not just the Transport Festival, but there is also the Victorian Extravaganza attracting people – and even a National Scooter Rally!

Joanna and I intend to go for the day, but we will aim to get there early and park the bike up and leave it. I suggest you do the same.

For those coming down on Friday, many of you know that you will pass right by our door (literally) about an hour out of Llandudno – and you are most welcome to stop in for a brew (as Stuart & Liz did last year, in fact, with their mobile castle – we have loads of parking space). Study this map (http://www.craftyjo.org.uk/location-map/) beforehand, and just give us a call on 01244-819797 when you are entering Wales so we can get the tea and coffee on and guide you in.

For those staying the weekend, please be aware that our new rideout maestro (Chris) has organised a club ride for 10am Sunday – starting at Llandudno, as it happens – heading for Barmouth and Bala. You are of course welcome to join in. Details can be found on our website (http://bit.ly/bsp3FX) and the start-point is the Black Cat garage at Llandudno Junction (http://bit.ly/9HvN8Z).
