The ever popular RAF Woodvale Rally will take place on 7-8th August 2010. The rally provides a weekend of entertainment for the whole family and we know that our visitors have special interests and come to see the models, aeroplanes, cars and other mainstream exhibits but many of you come for just a great weekends entertainment. To make it a memorable weekend we bring to-gether the best that we can to make the weekend something that you will enjoy.
Goldwings North West has a club area set aside each year alongside many other specialist motorcycle owners clubs. Many of our members choosing to camp over the weekend, enjoying the usually good weather and having a good time late into the evening, making it one of the best events of the year. You must book well in advance for a camping and exhibiting permit. You wont be disappointed. Entry Form Download available here. Please note there is a £5.00 camping fee this year which is a charitable donation.

Although there is a £5.00 charge this year for exhibitor camping I would still recommend everyone takes part. It’s well worth the fee and its going to charity in any case. We shall certainly be there.

There has always been a small charge, I think it was £2.50 when we first went and it’s now only £5. I think we may be able to stretch to it eh. It’s a good weekend full of fun and lots and lots to see, the model aircraft are unbelievable, they look and sound like the real thing. And of course there’s the night time, sat around till dark then the lights get switched on the bikes to ‘show off’ and compete with the PT Cruisers, they’re worth seeing.
See you there.

We are coming on the friday in the car with bbq – its a taste test of a few items we have in mind for the bbq in Kirby Lonsdale so a few comments would be appreciated – this will determine what we cook. Oh and its free – it will only be a small sample. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Weather for Saturday & Sunday looks good. Really looking forward to this weekend, the flying display of model aircraft on the flight light is excellent with some of the aircraft looking that real you would be hard pressed to tell the difference when they are in flight. The stalls and static displays are also well worth a good look round. Two days is probably just enough to see everything. See you all there.
