Sandbach Transport Festival
Meet at Poplar 2000 Services and be ready to go at 9:30 am.
After a few years of charging exhibitors an entry fee the organisers of Sandbach Transport festival have reverted to a free entry policy, accordingly we fancy attending the festival again on Sunday 18th April. The day revolves around a town centre display of everything from Steam engines to push bikes followed by a parade of vehicles around the town. Its a great day out and a chance to show off early in the season. Download the entry form from here. Applications must be received by 31st January 2010

We normally complete the application as an individual but include full details of the club you are a member of. Not sure what they mean about “For clubs or associations where meetings are used to determine individual entries”

When you’ve been once to Sandbach they will send a form to you for the following year. It’s a great day out with lots of people mulling around admiring the exhibits and a nice parade thrown in, and Sandbach is a lovley town to walk around too.
It’s good that they no longer charge the exhibits. So we will return.

Yes i totally agree with Barry Sandbach was brilliant. The fish and chips were top notch and you get your ipod charged up for free. Bill asked us where we all got our icecream’s from ?, so we all said from the icecream van (where else).
Maybe Ian could do his own TV programe and call it The Long Way Down.
See you all on Sunday it should be a good meeting.

It was a good day, for those who parked outside the hairdressers and got a chair and tea it was even better, we were outside the beer shop – nowt. It’s always a pleasure to go to Sandbach, and it’s free again so let’s do it again. (They wanted to charge us to display, so we said NO) Bills diet won’t take to many more days like that though, sorry Bill. was I not supposed to say?
