Scorton vintage and country fayre is now well established as a favorite entry in our calendar. This years event takes place at the usual site on 19th & 20th June. The rally comprises various collections of steam engines, vintage engines, classic engines and modern engines. Also featuring aero engines, Military, motorcycles, tractors and commercials. Lawn mower racing, Fairground rides plus many many more. Auto Jumble, food hall, model and crafts tent, Amusements plus many more stalls. This is a camping weekend for those wishing to display their Goldwings to the general public, so if you have a tent, caravan or motor home and want to take part  download your entry form from here and make sure it is returned in time to the event organisers. They are quite strict on entry to the event on the day, if you dont have a pass you will have to pay the entry fee and leave your bike outside. No fun at all.

  1. As said this is a favourite for all, lovely atmosphere, lovely place, very well organised and not far to travel. And the food in ‘The Barn’ at Scorton was tried and tested very well last year and passed with flying colours, (just a short walk there!) Can’t wait.

  2. What do you mean just a short walk. It took us almost 40 mins last year to get there.

  3. We loved Scorton last year, the showground is huge and it was full of everything and so clean. I think that was the first time the members met “The Bucket” aka Barney and the phrase “don’t feed the mastiff” was first uttered!

Unfortunatly Barry and I wont make this one this year as its the same weekend as the Iron Butt run, but for those who are not doing the Iron Butt it really is one to put in your diaries

  4. Just making sure you read what’s put down on the comments Bob. But you have to admit, it was a really nice walk along the river, very pleasant indeed.

  5. Hey Judy, you was not saying it was a nice walk when we was all getting eaten alive by the midges, remember !

    Jeff

  6. Judy
are you stopping on the Sunday night as well. If so shall we have our romantic evening together all alone in a cozy farmers field.

  7. Bob, yes WE are staying Sunday night, it will be even cosier with your Jackie and My Frank there. For anyone else reading this, Bob and I stayed last year on the Sunday night and were sat outside until about 11.30. I will be calling for the good pies on the way, does anyone want one or maybe two or three? (Eh Graham?) let me know what you want and I’ll go in and buy the shop full. Really looking forward to this event. See you there.
