American Cars, Hot Rods Pick Ups and Motocycles, all things that sparkle and shine The Stars & Stripes event at Tatton Park is held every year. As well as both vintage and classic era vehicles built in the USA, there is also a smattering of more recent stuff, although its the former that features here mainly. This is one huge show, and the turnout of interesting old American motors is excellent. Standard sedans and station wagons rubbed shoulders with hot rods, muscle cars and custom cars,old Harleys and up to date Goldwings to create a really interesting selection of vehicles. Some cars were restored to ‘as new’ condition (or better), whereas others had been preserved in their original paint, rather than polished to a mirror finish. The entertainment in the beer tent is always good and if the weather is kind you couldnt ask for a better weekend away. Once again the camping is free if you display your Goldwing to the public. Please note that there is now a camping fee for exhibitors who attend in anything other than a tent.
