Thundersprint
Meeting at Poplar 2000 truck stop at 8:45 am for a 9:00 am run into Northwich
This years Thundersprint event in Northwich will take place on 9th May. The bike show will be held on the Saturday 8th May in the town centre and The Thundersprint will be on the Sunday 9th May. We visited the Thundersprint last year and were seriously impressed with the event and the weekend in general. If you have any interest in motorcycles what so ever you must see what goes on in Northwich. Knutsford Honda, the main event sponsor for 2010 have invited Federation clubs to attend the event and display their Goldwings in the main sponsors area. Honda UK will have their roof unit and a full range of current Honda bikes on view. Saun Davis, manager at Knutsford Honda said “the more Goldwings the better” . This is a great opportunity to park up right next to the action and be in the centre of the event throughout the day.

The club is planning on attending Thundersprint on the Sunday as guests of Knutsford Honda, theres no reason however for not paying a personal visit to the bike show on Saturday if you wish.

Roger, no you dont, just turn up at the meeting point Poplar 2000 services at 8:45 am and we will ride in to Northwich together to the Knutsford Honda stand for the day.

Hope there are the usual stalls there selling some cheaper bike gear – like jackets and boots. Will be looking for SMALLER sizes cos the one’s I have now are getting a little too baggy. Putting an extra tin on my wing for : Help David Buy New Clothes Fund.

(Goldwings North Wales)We will be going to the thundersprint on Sunday on our Goldwing 1500 along with
Carl and Maureen on their Goldwing 1800 Trike. We will head for the Knutsford Honda Stand. See you all there happy and safe riding.
