a little more from us which we forgot to mention we “won” two more mouths to feed by way of “Lionel” with the glasses (teddy bear) and “Big z” penguin from Derian House stall. Where is the wheelie machine and greasy spoon – having withdrawal symptoms and the shakes!!!!!!!!!!!!

all i can say about the day in the park is i am not not not being parked next to a smelly chip van again cant get the smell of the bike.
even though the day was a first for the organisers? it wasnt to bad for a first go.
the weather was a bigger let down but i would give it a go next year if it comes of.
I dont think it was very good to be split from the trikes as we all go as a club we should be all in one area.At least we still had a laugh together.
stiff upper lip and all that.
but i repeat no chip van or wheelie machine will i be near in future.
as for the organ next sunday i can get my hands on some ear plugs if needed.
oh well rant over keep on winging it folks

Ok, here’s my view. When we got to where we were displaying I think everyone said in unison “is that it” Yes it was very small, but it was the 1st one there so next year it could be bigger. We were’nt kean on being split up into 3 but they did’nt know how many of us were going to turn up, or so they said. Do they not know how us wingers like to show our wings? a chance to do just that and we are there. We made a good display with our new banners and the bikes looked well. The squealing of the ‘display’ behind us was annoying and pointless in my view, but then I’m just a female and these events are’nt aimed at us.
Next week will be good. (apart from that dammed organ)

Sorry I missed this event due to work commitments. It looked like a great day even though the weather was a bit adverse on occasions. The banners look great I must say, just what we needed to get us noticed and in the public’s eye (as if nice shiny Goldwings don’t do that already!) but at least Joe public can associate us to this great club we have going up here in the North West. It can only make us grow from strength to strength. P.S. nice post report too!
