British Heart Foundation raffle raises £141.00
The raffle held at the recent Federation WingFest raised the sum of £141.00. This will be going to the British Heart Foundation. Thank you to all those who provided the many raffle prizes and also to everyone for taking part and raising the money.
If you remember we all agreed to hold a raffle during the year in aid of the British Heart Foundation and to remember Lesley Halley. We intend to hold this raffle at the forthcoming bar b cue at Kirkby Lonsdale. Can you please bring along any items you wish to donate as raffle prizes and a pocket full of pound coins. I have a figure in mind but I’m sure we can blow it out of the water with no difficulty. Thank you.

I’m sure I have a few bottles of red wine I can bring, plus that bottle of Canadian Whiskey I use as paint stripper. Oh joy! Maybe I should have a look in the garage to see if there are any chrome bits for a 1500 I can donate.
Whatever you can bring please do so, lets make this a decent raffle amount. I have a figure in mind so lets all dig deep for this worthy cause.
Weather looks good so far for the weekend, according to Metcheck anyway.

Ssssshhhhhh,
We ladies, yes I use the term loosely, decided while at Woodvale that as it’s Brians birthday just after the bbq that we will have a surprise jacobs join on Sunday lunch time, we can use up what we have’nt eaten and maybe a bit more. So come on let’s make it a special day for him. Sssssshhhhh though.
