Federation WingFest – Pictures added to gallery
Pictures taken at the very first Federation WingFest have been added to the 2010 album. The weekends event took place in the very picturesque village of Kirkby Lonsdale, just on the outskirts of the Lake District.

We had a lovely relaxed evening meeting you all again on Saturday. It was at this event last year that I first met Goldwings Northwest when Lesley invited us to the Barbeque, so it was especially touching that the raffle was raising money for the BHF to remember her. I’m delighted with the raffle prize – thank you to whoever donated the fruit/veg basket! Thanks also to those hard workers that made it all happen! See you all at Blackpool!!

It was indeed a very good weekend, the weather was very very good to us, the sun shone both Saturday and Sunday and it was lovely and warm, the bbq went well and the company was excellent, what more can you ask for. I was grateful for the good weather as our son and family and his friend with his family were camping for the 1st time, had it been nasty weather then all the camping equipment would have been on e bay before Sunday lunchtime, as it was they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We also had a great time living in our saab motor home (big mistake!!!!!!) but we tested our new camping gear and everything worked so we are happy..Enjoyed cooking for friends and eating black puddding for breakfast OMG 10/10 for that one… The best thing is that the family went shopping in kirby and bought something and we had a very nice dinner out and cooking with a view – beat that nigella!!!!!!!!!!!got an idea for next year or time as the case may be too… this must be a must do event
