Fleetwood Tram Sunday on Track for 2011
Fleetwood Tram Sunday, the ever popular transport festival which takes place every summer in the town of Fleetwood has been cancelled for this year. Organisers took the decision due to major tram works in the town centre and a general lack of funds. Fleetwood Chamber of Trade promise the event will return even bigger and better. It’s the same as last year. From the way it was reported on the radio the council had there meeting last mon/tues and where going to discuss money with the commitee on the 8th. The decision would be made then.

According to local Blackpool paper Tram Sunday is cancelled. But will be back in 2011 bigger and better.

Its Now October and work is well underway for the Tram Sunday Festival of Transport which takes place on 17th July 2011.
