Hi Ian. We have a choice of 2 good events on Sunday, so Dave has decided to let the members who attend the meeting decide which one we head for.

The first option is the annual Pet Food Cavalcade (http://www.petfoodcavalcade.com/) in Stoke. We have done this one for the last few years, and it's very good once you get past the melee at the start. It starts at noon and rides around Stoke - through all red lights! - and gets back to the starting point about an hour later. This is in aid of local animal charities.

The second option is the Ride for Rotary (http://www.rideforrotary.org/) which starts also at noon very near our meeting place, at Ewloe, and ends up at The Ponderosa near the Horseshow Pass. We don't get to ride through red lights on this one, apparently, but there are very few on the route anyway. It too takes about an hour, and is in aid of Welsh Air Ambulance, Hope House Children's Hospices, Claire House and SPARKS Child Medical Research.

As you said, we would be very glad if any of your members wished to join us - either at the start of the meeting (9am) or even at the end (about 10am).
