Incredible rear view motorcycle helmet
I came across this incredible rear view motorcycle helmet whilst trawling through various web sites, don’t know if you have seen it before. The idea is such a simple one based on clever periscope technology with fancy 21st century shaping of the mirrors. Think about it, as soon as you put a helmet on your head you reduce your peripheral vision and spacial awareness of things around you, about the worst thing you can do on a
motorcycle. This new helmet design goes a long way in overcoming this deficiency in all round vision. The very idea of integrating a mirror reflecting system into a helmet construction is totally unique, it feels and looks similar to a rear view mirror in a car and gives a real sense of awareness. I can imagine it would take a while getting used to the rear view just above your eye line but if it increases road safety for bikers it can only be a success.
Watch the video, it works remarkably well.

Fascinating, Bob – well found.
Hmmm…….won’t I just see an icy stare from Joanna wondering why I’m going so fast?

Hi Ian, I too find this idea great for solo riders, but must agree with Nigel above, the answer is yes Joanne will!(LOL
)even though I find you ride fine.

Sorry, I don’t like it. You still have to take your eyes off the road ahead no matter what you do.

Sorry guys, but I can’t take credit for this one, as it’s all down to the multi-talented Mr Summers!

Hi all.
Ok for spotting aircraft on the fireblade. Good concept but just a gimmick. We tried the Reevu for a while at Hellmart, sold several overseas but production issues restricted supply. Cheers Tim
