Jimmy Ryans Combination
Jim sent me a few pictures of his GL1500 combination the other day, they have been taken at various places and events over the years. You can find them at the Photos tag at the top of the page under “Photos 2009″ in the “previously loved bikes” gallery. His side car is quite unique in the world of combinations to be honest. Ask him about it next time you meet. Anyway, I thought this could be the start of a good idea. If you have any pictures of your pride and joy please send them to me. I will upload them to the website for all to see,doesn’t matter what the bike is, pictures of your old FS1e or CB250 superdream would be equally as interesting. If you have no digital images then bring your old photos to the next meeting and I will scan them onto a file. I think this is a good idea, What do you think?

I know you have a purple Yamaha FS1E from around 1975/6 thats in perfect condition. Send me a picture of it for this section and I will see if I can dig out my old pictures of the Honda 250 superdream. Yes I did have one, in fact I had two. Hey, you also have a GL1200 thats in pretty good nick. Sure I’ve got a picture of that somewhere, watch this space.
Thinking on: Stuart, you have a nice Edward the executor model somewhere in the deepest recess of your garage, how about a picture of that as well. Go on, you know you want to……..

Sorry, Bob, forgot that you were just a mere stripling…..combinations are what old people used to wear as underwear.
