- Barry and the family of the late Lesley would like to thank most sincerely all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind messages of sympathy, cards and donations received during their recent sad loss. Thanks to Goldwing North West and Goldwing North Wales for their escort and finally thanks to Neil and Kath Harvey and staff for their professional, excellent and dignified funeral arrangements.

The above was posted in the lancashire evning post on thursday evening.And can be seen online
I cant say thank you to many times for the turn out and the escort of wings by you good people.It just goes to show what sort of a club GNW has become in a short time long may it continue.

We all thought alot of Lesley and it’s a shame we did’nt know her for longer than we did, she was a wonderful kind lady who would have been a excellent committee member, as said before, ‘she was a do’er’ with many good ideas for GoldWings North West. The amount of people at the crematorium bears whitness to how much she was loved.
Lesley, you will be in our thoughts as we ride our Wings for a long time to come. You will be our Guardian Angel riding with us.R.I.P. xxxx

It was a cold day but being near the front on trike leading a long line of goldwings was totally awesome and a testiment to how many people thought of lesley. shame the chapel was a bit on the small side or were the mourners a bit on the large side!! We will all miss you.

It was a tough day today for many of us, and so lovely to see so many of Lesley’s Goldwing friends attending and paying their respects to such a well loved member. The sight of all the Goldwings escorting her up the drive was awesome and brought a tear to many an eye. God bless you Lesley.

Thank you Lynne for the above link. It gives us all an insight into Lesley that we never had time to find out about. The test for all of us will come over the next year. When we go on rides/ statics and turn round looking for Lesley only to remeber she’s not there. I am proud to have been one of her friends and hope I can grow into a better person for knowing her.

Although we only joined GWNW in March we were taken by Lesley’s outgoing nature and zest for life. With lots of ideas driving her forward into 2010 it was a great shock to us both when we read Ian D’s Email on Saturday afternoon prior to the Dinner which, of course, was Lesley’s own project. We shall miss her greatly but hold her memory dear. JC & M

Had never thought the youngest of the Jackson girls would be the first to leave us,whilst we never kept close touch you were always in my thoughts. Will be there to say my own goodbye. will always remember your parting, my birthday, if this is karma, then you have even more to do
in your next life, watch over us and say hello to the parents. Will make sure Lynne and I keep in touch.
