Meeting 27th December
Well who would have thought that 33 members would take the trouble to turn up to the Christmas December meeting. Ian and I expected no more than a dozen people. Thank you to those that attended and made the meeting an enjoyable affair. See you all at the Dinner Dance on January 30th.
We have agreed from Decembers meeting that on arrival anyone wanting a breakfast instead of lunch can do so, but inform the hotel that you are from Goldwings North West. Don’t forget the meeting starts at 10:30 am. If you just want to order a coffee you do so at the bar and pay when ordering. There won’t be any coffee in the meeting room from now on. If you intend to stay for lunch then please place your order and pay for your meal prior to the meeting, you will be issued a receipt as normal with your order details on it. If your not happy to place a prior order then go through the due process after the meeting ends by placing a food order at the bar. The meeting will then finish at 12:00 so that lunch can be served without a lengthy delay.

It was a lovely meeting today, made a change to be with friends you wanted to be with as opposed to family who.., well you get the gist. Have a safe and Happy New Year everyone and see you all poshed up on the 30th!

after crezz talking about the ironbutt 1000 at the meeting i have signed up for it this morning.that will teach e to listen at meetings..But as the ride to the wall ment so much i thought this would be another way to show respect and raise some money for the poppy appeal.
So in short i am doing it in june all signed up and waiting for the welcome pack to come.
only thing now is to see what route to go on as there is a southern and a northern route.
who said this meeting may be a waste of time.
oh well its done now.

Hi to everyone, sorry could not make last meeting, its still very bad on the roads, and I only like to turn up on my bike so it was a no no. As for the bike show I can make myself available for setting up and both days of the show, and if my 1100 wing is needed I can show her Happy New YEAR SEE YOU IN 2010

I was gutted not to be able to make it on the bike, but the side roads here, were and still are covered in thick ice, the car had to do.

Great turn out, must do more and include camping and B & B’s.
