Potato Pie Supper – Wednesday 8th September, 7pm till late.
Randy Rodriguez (Captain of the Central Florida Motorcycle Drill Team) and his wife Cat are coming over to UK for this years Blackpool Light Parade and will be staying with Stuart & Liz for a few days afterwards. Their last evening in UK will be Wednesday 8th September 2010 and Stuart & Liz are hosting a farewell party for them at their home in Samlesbury. There will be a Potato Pie (with crust!) and red cabbage followed by Apple & Blackberry Pie and Cream.
All Members of GoldWings North West are welcome. Cost is £5 per head for the food and please bring whatever you like to drink in case we haven’t got it in. Any surplus will to go to NW Air Ambulance.
Stuart forgot to mention it at the Meeting on Sunday so please ring him if you are coming or tell him at Blackpool, so he can order enough Potato Pie! (Phone number is in the Members Photo Section.)

Stuart will be catering for 40 members so please spread the word. You will probably all get to meet Randy & Cat at the light parade, but this is another opportunity to pick up some real pearls of wisdom, especially those interested in the display team, about close riding and the world champion team he captains in Florida. Should be a good night.

Unfortunately we won’t be able to make the tayta pie supper, but we will be with you in ‘spirit’ not too much though. Safe journey home Randy and Cat, it was lovely to see you both again. TTFN

Excellent evening, thanks to everyone that turned up, made it really special and I am sure Randy and Kay will remember for a long time to come.
Until the next time.

Really enjoyed the evening, it was sad to see Randy and Cat leaving us but I’m sure they will go home with very fond memories of both the Blackpool Light Parade and all the wingers they met whilst here in the UK. It would also be very unkind not to mention their hosts Stuart and Liz who accomodated them whilst they were in the UK, and without who’s home, hard work, generosity and kindness they would not have been here. Well done, and a big thank you from Bob & Jackie
