Web Site visitors increase by 56%

The recent report from the web hosting company confirms that unique visits to our Goldwings North West website increased by 56% from the December 2009 figure. Total number of visitors to the site for March 2010 was 14800 unique visits, thank you to all who visit our web site and makeuse of the information and services provided. The report makes very interesting viewing, for instance you can certainly tell when there are interesting posts on the site or additions to the photo gallery as the number of pages viewed by each visitor increases considerably, and for some reason Monday seems to be the busiest day for web traffic, probably when everyone gets back to work for some free internet time. Remember that you only see the most recent posts in the rotator at the top of the page in dark blue. These posts rotate through 5 or 6 different headings and can be selected by either clicking on the title as they rotate or selecting the post from the Featured Articles list on the right hand side and then clicking the post title in the rotator box. Less recent posts appear below with approx 12 different posts on view, to read the full post click on the post title or the “Read More” tag in the bottom left hand corner. Don’t forget that even older posts prior to this are available to view by clicking on the “Older Entries” or “Next Page” tags at the bottom of the post list. It’s also worth revisiting the gallery view by clicking on “photos” at the very top of the page, this opens a drop down box with various year choices, click on the year and this opens a list of galleries that can be viewed, click on a gallery to view all images in that particular gallery.  Simple really.
