Blackpool Classic Bike Show
A Mark Woodward indoor classic bike show held at the Norbreck Castle Hotel Exhibition Centre. We attended this show last year and had a really good day, lots to see and do with the facilities of the hotel as well. Bit different as all the bikes are inside the building. Usual good turnout from the public. Anyone interested in attending this show please leave a comment and let Pete know. Leaving from the Swallow Hotel at 9:00 am

For those of you that want to put your wings on display you can either let me know and I will phone for you, or you can contact Mark (the organiser) on 01253 407779.
I know it is very short notice, so a quick decision needs to be made. You can take your bike in on the Saturday afternoon where it will be secure overnight for the Sunday, or get there on the Sunday before 09:00.
Any more info required, please get in touch.

Not a bad show at Blackpool, it was a shame only wings from Lancs and Lakes turned up, and 1 from Pennine and me from Goldwings North West, the weather was great I must admit there was more brit bikes than japs. but they were well turned out. All in all it was enjoyable. The ride to and from was great in the sunshine. happy riding all…….

Hi Barry,
glad to hear somebody from Goldwings North West attended this show. I know quite a few people had other things planned what with it being Easter break and all that. I should imagine you had a good day with wingers from other areas. You didn’t get any pictures of the event did you?

Hi Barry,
Thanks for making the effort, I did point out to the organisers that they had given us very short notice, and we may not get a good turn out. But, yes it is a good show and there are more through out the summer. Bob has a list of dates and places, and I am sure he will post then on the web site for us all.
Kind regards.

I am looking forward to you guys riding the Illuminations. Hopefully the prom will be in a better state than it is at the moment. Most of the building work should be finished. I hope you can sort out a decent venue now Pontins is closed. Its a pity they wont just open it for the weekend as its just sitting there doing nothing till then knock it down to build houses.
