Inaugural meeting
Swallow Hotel
The inaugural meeting of GoldWings North West was held on Sunday 1st February at The Swallow Hotel, Samlesbury.
Fifty Goldwing owners from the North West attended the meeting and also enjoyed a hearty breakfast with friends. The meeting took place in the Nelson Suite where an initial structure for the club was discussed and agreed upon.

Well I don’t know about you but I was amazed at the number of interested Goldwing owners who turned up for our very first meeting. Bit humbling really. Appreciate your vote of confidence in allowing me to stand as Chairman, thought I’d given all that up a year ago. Glad we got some structure for the club sorted and agreed on Goldwings North West. Still lots of input from you guys needed for the very near future so please lets make use of the website and lets start some constructive dialogue. Here’s to the future

Hi Guys
Will you be putting on a breakfast at the next meeting on the 1st of March and will there be toast? all for(£5) if so I think you will have another crowd coming over to see you I will give you numbers two days before.

Toast, what toast, you had buttered bread last time, now you want toast as well. We will never make any money at this rate. Tell you what, if you want toast I will personally serve you toast, as well as your breakfast. Please join us for the meeting, we have quite a few items to cover plus membership applications commence from 1st March as well, so bring your completed form with you.
