This year’s dates for the Blackpool Light Parade weekend have now been confirmed as 4th to 7th September 2009.
Full details of the event are currently being prepared and will appear on the Light Parade website shortly.

Hi all.
Not long now to another great weekend at BLP, last year was fabulous and never to be repeated, lots going on, very busy for the whole weekend. This year will be smaller and more laid back, and I think better. (Bigger is’nt necessarily better in my humble opinion.) Every year that we’ve done the BLP it has been fantastic, the crowds love us, Blackpool love us and we love going there, our menfolk love to show off with all the newly fitted lights, (which do look good) and to talk to Joe public about all the bits and pieces on the bikes whilst it’s being admired. A good time ahead for us all.
See you all there very very soon.

Well Monday was spent with Steve here fixing his lights on his bike (sorry Ian for Barry not ringing and coming to Lytham but Ste kept pulling more out of his bag lol!) Tuesday saw Jimmy here fixing lights on his bike, today finally got Daphne out of the garage to feckle her, and I got her out with out dropping her! Thats it now, she will never be a christmas tree but I am happy with what I have done, lets hope Barry is when he sees her! (and no Bill you are not seeing my wiring!)
