[...] 31st Wirral Egg Run April 17, 2011The 31st Wirral Egg Run will take place on Sunday 17th April. This is one of the early events of the year and is a great start to the season. If previous events are anything to go by then it should be a superb day out. The theme for those who havent attended before is we donate money or Easter Eggs, for neady children on the Wirral. Suffice it to say they are usually overloaded with Eggs and would in most instances prefer a cash donation, whatever is your choice. Read last years report here. [...]

What an amazing day out some many bikers on 2,3,4 wheeels the friendship was great. Met Crezz at 8 am and rode to his
friends house and a welcoming brew and bacon buttie!! Many many riders came to the house I wonder what the neighbors
thought!? We then finally rodae to the meeting point at the sea front – oh boy what a sight wall to wall bikers buttie vans and drink stands. Finally we all made a move … how do you get thousands of bikers to funnel through such narrow roads but we managed then all the crowds which lined the roadside and cheeering and waving – a never ending crowd on the entire route , even at the hospital. We did not stay because we needed more than a burger and chips for food, but the memory of that day will stay for a long time!!

Just to confirm will meet you the other side of the Whallasy tunnel at 8 am and go for a light breakfast and brew. Bringing camera too. If we cannot squeeze by the motor cycle lane what will they class a trike as? at the pay booth. Perhaps the nice man will let me go through for nothing!!

Jackie and I usually do the Egg Run, its a great day out and a good start to the season. Unfortunately we are up in Edinburgh that weekend with friends celebrating a birthday. Have a good day and don’t forget to take money rather that Easter Eggs, they get thousands and don’t know what to do with them all.

no probs buddy. have already been on website to get the rules an regs. e mailed guy abt the helmet stance cos we are trikers – he replied as long as its road legal he is ok with it. either send us an e mail or drop a line here. hope this ok with you. Dave on toni’s laptop by the way just in case she gives me a rocket!!
