The newly positioned downstairs showroom is full to overflowing with bargains for not only the GL1800 but you will find accessories right down to the GL1200 amongst the stock. Chrome Crazy Weekend at Knutsford Honda

Stuart will be leading a ride out to Knutsford Honda on Saturday 2nd April, leaving from The Norman Jepson Hotel at 9:15 and and planning a decent run over to the Chrome Crazy show at Knutsford arriving around 11:00 ish.

Knutsford Honda, The Federation’s main sponsor, is hosting one of its famous Chrome Crazy Weekends on 2-3rd April. The usual Crazy Discounts will apply with Chrome Goodies galore on display. Dont miss this opportunity to freshen up your wing for the coming season. Knutsford Honda are on the A50 just a few miles east of Junction 20 of the M6, about half way to its junction with the A556.

Now sorted, managed to pick up a pair of the new style covers from Knutsford Honda Chrome Crazy day for not a lot pf money. Really pleased with them, especially the new rings of fire supplied by Jimmy Ryan, Frank Goodman and Ian Duxbury. Thanks for looking.

Can you have a look in your garage for a Chrome Rotor cover for a GL1500. Its got to be the right hand side as your sat on the bike and the older style from pre 2000. It would be really good if it was brand new and unopened but hey I will accept no broken tabs and no scratches if possible. Alternatively if you have a chrome pair in good condition I would also be interested, I lost my original somewhere on the motorway last season. There will be a run out to Knutsford Honda after the club meeting on Sunday.

Federation sponsor Knutsford Honda are holding another of their successful “Chrome Crazy” weekends at their main Honda dealership in High Legh, Knutsford. They promise major reductions of up to 25% off prices from all the main accessory suppliers of Goldwing goodies, plus a selection of GoldWings to purchase if your feeling really flushed. No doubt there will be coffee and tea available and the traditional burger van on hand for refreshments.

Well I don’t think there is any chrome left at Knutsford Honda. I have never seen such a chrome crazy frenzy of wanton debauchery and credit card bashing. You could see it in their eyes as soon as they entered the showroom, Barry and Jimmy lost it immediately and carried off half the accessories only to find they couldn’t fit their goodies into the bike, most people ended up with a purchase or two, most of them bargains. There was a great turnout of riders for such a cold morning, the forecourt was full of GoldWings with riders coming from as far afield as Derbyshire, North Wales and Staffordshire, most of them started off with the bacon butty stall and warmed up with a brew before venturing into Knutsford Honda’s new showroom. The new Honda VFR and Fury were on view and very nice they are too, there was also a rather nice Black GL1800 fully kitted out with the Kuryakyn accessory range on display, the chrome against the black paint job looked stunning. We managed to issue dozens of posters for the Blackpool Goldwing Light Parade which caused quite a stir and raised a few questions, with many riders glad to hear it was still going ahead after the closure of Pontins. All in all a good mornings work, managed to meet up with friends old and new which is what its all about. Meet on Saturday 13th March at Poplar 2000 services, commonly known as Lymm services, just off junction 20 of the M6. Plan to arrive and be ready to go at 10:00 am prompt.

Blackpool Classic Bike Show

A Mark Woodward indoor classic bike show held at the Norbreck Castle Hotel Exhibition Centre. We attended this show last year and had a really good day, lots to see and do with the facilities of the hotel as well. Bit different as all the bikes are inside the building. Colin Appleyards Open Day

Appleyards open day, need I say more. A great opportunity to pick up all those chrome accessories and Goldwing goodies that are a must have prior to the start of the season. Everything for your Goldwing will be on sale at the North West’s premier Goldwing dealership. Take plenty of money or at least your credit card.

There is usually a good turn out of other Goldwing riders from all over the UK so its a great chance to meet up and have a chat with all your friends.
